Presence of an Absence
Brierfield Library and Northlight Mill
The first Presence of an Absence focused on the lives of women in Ciudad Juarez Mexico. Artists who participated in this first event include Mexican Artist Elina Chauvet, Irish artists Brian Maguire and Mark McLaughlin and Mexican photographer Rocio Sifuentes.
This event consisted on three installations, a documentary, and a live art performance. We ran a few workshops and talks at Nelson and Colne College and Briefield Library.
